The short answer

Alongside client engagements, Smeron builds and operates its own software products. The first is Banana Board, an AI hardware design platform that turns a plain-English description of a gadget into validated firmware, a wiring diagram, a live in-browser simulation and a fab-ready PCB, with fourteen automated checks against the target board's real pins before anything is built. Owning and running products is what separates a studio that ships from one that hands over and leaves.

Why it is on this site

  • A hard AI problem shipped, not demoed. Generating text that sounds like a circuit is easy; generating one that compiles, respects a real board's pins and survives a power budget is not — and the difference is exactly the difference between an AI prototype and an AI product.
  • Validation as a first-class feature. Fourteen automated checks exist because a wrong answer here costs a burnt board, which is the same discipline any AI system needs where a wrong answer costs money.
  • Operated, not handed over. It is live, supported and still being developed — which is the part of building software that a studio's client work never has to prove.

    Straight to a connected Arduino or compatible board from the browser, with no toolchain to install first.

  • AI PCB designer

    Automatic component placement and routing, producing Gerber files a fab house accepts.

  • Eleven supported boards

    Arduino Uno R3, Mega 2560, Nano, Leonardo and Nano RP2040 Connect; Raspberry Pi Pico and Pico W; ESP32 DevKit V1, C3 and S3; NodeMCU ESP8266.
